So, let me tell you about me, my company and the job.

My name is Kennett Washington Fitness Expert & one of Charlotte’s best trainers for body transformation. As a Pro Natural Bodybuilder I understand how the body works and how it has the ability to completely transform when feeding and training it properly. I run a private fitness Personal Training and Nutrition Company called Healing Strength Personal Training in Charlotte, NC. As a small and yet still expanding company we can service quite a bit of the Charlotte residents & surrounding areas.

Healing Strength Personal Training was founded on February 21, 1999. Since then we have been helping clients live life to the fullest with proper exercise and nutrition. With our motto “medicine is now in fitness” we have truly redefined client’s lives. What do I mean by redefining the quality of someone’s life? Quality of life is when someone gets a clean bill of health from their doctor, not just physically, but also emotionally, spiritually, and financially. When elite athletes are able to take their game to the next level, teachers who now feel more focused and energized at work, able to give back even more to our young youth, CEO’s, CFO’s, business owners tell me that their performance at work has improved. Healing Strength Personal Training is a personal training company structured to teach our clients how to train their system to respond to a proper individualized program. Training can be done at our location or within the privacy of your own home. All of which allows optimal results and overall benefits to your health. We follow the National Academy of Sports and Medicine (NASM) OPT Model. This model is divided into three different building blocks of the training-stabilization, strength, and power. Within each level contains very specific phases of training.

Based on each unique clients assessment training programs are then designed using the (NASM) OPT Model. We are proud to offer the specialized areas of training in Integrated Core Stabilization, Integrated Neuromuscular Stabilization and Integrated Reactive Neuromuscular. Science and studies has shown this progressive system to be effective in today’s society. With this power and knowledge our certified trainers are dedicated to get their prospective clients the maximum results through proper training, nutrition, and supplementation. We at Healing Strength Personal Training believe in client education and long term client health and success, not unhealthy quick fix fad diets and programs that could be hazardous to our client’s health.

If you are hired for this job, you'll need to come to the office, our office location is located at 10345 Nations Ford Rd. Ste. C Charlotte NC 29273. The position is part-time & hours will change as work load increases. But for the start schedule you will be set to work 9am to 2pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The starting pay is $12.00 an hour. There is a 90 day trial period that will start the day of hire.

Tasks I Need You To Perform
  • Answering and returning phone calls from customers and prospects: I don’t get a ton of phone calls, but the ones that come in are important. When you’re not here to answer the phone, many of the calls will go to voicemail. You’ll be responsible for returning those calls the next day.

  • Responding to customer service phone calls and emails: I get quite a few phone calls and emails every day. You will need to respond to each of these with basic information I’ll provide to you. So you need to be comfortable with the phone, using email and be a good typist.

  • Filing: Paperwork/communications flow

  • Web site management: Ideally, you’ll have some technology skills and can do some basic updates to my web sites & back office to our blog site (if not, I’ll teach you how). You do NOT need to know HTML, but if you do, that’s a plus. Also, if you’re familiar with FrontPage or Word Press and are generally comfortable with internet technology, that’s definitely a plus.
Training Required
  • Basic review of company policy and procedures.

  • How we do things (corporate culture and expected behavior)

  • Computer training (Infusion, Rainmaker, AAC, ACT, etc)

  • Answer telephone

  • Interface with clients

  • Paperwork/communications flow

  • Learn & understand basic nutrition and use of Nutritional Supplements

  • Required to participate and attend live webinars related to business software
Required Skills

These are the skills you must already have in order to qualify for this position:
  • Microsoft Word: you must be very comfortable using Word

  • Microsoft Publisher: we publish a monthly newsletter in publisher, and you’ll need to be able to go in and make edits/changes to the file when necessary and get it ready for print.

  • Microsoft Excel: you must have basic Excel skills - we don’t do anything advanced with this software, just some simple spreadsheets, but you must be comfortable doing what I need you to do.

  • Good Phone Personality/Etiquette: you will be talking with my customers, who are VERY important to me, and prospective customers, who are also important. You must be comfortable conversing on the phone, in person, and through e-mail. You must know how to conduct yourself professionally, take clear messages and deliver clear instructions to the prospect or client. I’ll teach you everything you need to say and do, but I can’t teach you manners and professionalism.

  • Email: A great deal of your work will be via email. I use a web-based program that’s easy to learn (you’ll understand it within 30 minutes). You need to be very comfortable and proficient with email.

  • Thoughtfulness and Organization: I need you to be able to think for yourself and be organized. You must know how to accommodate & move time slots around to make them fit Client and trainer schedule. You must know how to prioritize meeting related to my Strategic Alliances (SA) and other daily projects related to my schedule. You will have to use your judgment best at times to book my schedule for the day/week. So your organization skills will be a key to our success as a team. I am very serious about this one. I do not want a robot, I want someone who learns and grows with me.

  • Keying all Client info. Into data system

  • Planning & working on special projects

  • Keep everyone informed

  • Carry out manager agenda

  • Execute marketing as required (e-mail, postcards, etc.)

  • Coordinate office activity

  • Supervise cleaning, etc.
Training Required
  • Understand basic review of company policy and procedures.

  • How we do things (corporate culture and expected behavior)

  • Business software (Infusion, Rainmaker, AAC, ACT, etc)

  • Answer telephone

  • Interface with clients

  • Paperwork/communications flow

  • Learn & understand basic nutrition and use of Nutritional Supplements

  • High school graduate

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Must be well versed on computer and programs such as word, excel, publisher, power point, etc.
Bonus Skills
